21st Century Equipment Partner Keith Page Exhibits Goat at National Western Stock Show
21st Century Equipment was once again honored to attend the National Western Stock Show (NWSS) in 2026. There, they showcased a variety of John Deere machinery and partnered with Keith Page, a young man who exhibited his goat, Big Boy, at the Junior Market Goat Show on Saturday, January 17.
Keith is a high school senior at Arickaree Undivided High School in Washington County, Colorado. He has kept very busy with showing animals from an early age. “I have been attending the National Western Stock Show in Denver since I was 3 years old,” Keith said. “I began showing cattle for myself in Denver when I was 8. I’m sad that as a senior, it will also be my last year showing in Denver.”
The National Western Stock Show (NWSS) is an annual Colorado tradition. This year, it took place for sixteen days from January 10th through the 25th. The NWSS is nationally recognized for its professional rodeo events, horse shows, and livestock exhibitions just to name a few highlights. Attendance each year verges on the 700,000-visitor mark.
21st Century won a bid for the “partner experience” with Keith at the Colorado Future Farmers of America (FFA) Meat & Greet event in November of 2025. Afterward, Keith frequently wrote letters to us on his progress between the auction and the NWSS events. 21st Century also participated in “paddle raises” for kids showing in all categories (cows, pigs, lambs and goats). As a result, we contributed in some way to the sponsorships of each kid who attended the Meat & Greet.
Busy, as an Understatement
Since the Meat & Greet, Keith has shown livestock at the Cheyenne Livestock Exhibition and the Arizona National Livestock Show in Phoenix. In addition, he has helped assist his goats during labor by helping with difficult deliveries. He also helped first-time goat mothers learn how to nurse, and even lent a hand to his dad around the farm by learning to weld H-braces on their fences. To say Keith keeps busy is a bit of an understatement. In addition to his activities with the FFA, he also plays football and runs track.
“Showing livestock has allowed me to meet a lot of people in the livestock industry,” Keith said. “I have met a lot of successful goat breeders who have helped me with my own goat herd.”
Keith says he “fell in love” with showing goats over the years more than any other animal. Furthermore, Big Boy holds a unique place in his heart.
“He’s just so friendly,” Keith said after his showing on Saturday. “He likes the attention.”
21st Century Equipment would like to thank Keith and his family for allowing us to be a part of his journey to the NWSS. We also appreciate Keith for keeping us up to date on all his amazing activities throughout the busy holiday season. Last but certainly not least, we’d like to thank Mackenna Caryl for her coverage of Keith’s showing, and for all of the great photos she shot!
