In 2024, we raised over $125,000 for the American Cancer Society, and for the first time ever, the event was completely sold out. This year, we’re aiming even higher, and we want you to be part of it.
WHAT IS BIG DIG COLORADO?
Big Dig Colorado is a unique, family-friendly event where kids and adults can operate real mini excavators and enjoy exciting activities like a 70-foot obstacle course. It’s a day of fun, community, and giving back.

The mission of the American Cancer Society is to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
While most people know them for their research, they do so much more. Working to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. Advocating for lifesaving policy changes. Promoting healthy lifestyles to help you prevent cancer. Researching cancer and its causes to find more answers and better treatments. And they do it all 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The American Cancer Society is proud to have contributed to the work that has resulted in a 33% drop in the overall cancer death rate in the United States. That drop equates to 3.8 million fewer cancer deaths between 1991 and 2023.
