Cultivating the Future: 21st Century Equipment Partners with Colorado FFA

How does our FFA partnership support the next generation of Colorado ag?

At 21st Century Equipment, we believe that investing in our youth is the best way to ensure the long-term health of our "Backyard." During the recent "Meat & Greet" event in Denver, we were honored to contribute to the Colorado FFA Foundation’s mission of providing scholarships and hands-on agricultural education.

Our long-standing history as a trusted dealer has shown us that today's exhibitors are tomorrow's industry leaders. By bidding on these "Partner Experiences," we help cover the costs of high-quality feed, travel, and animal care, allowing students to focus on developing their expertise in the ring and the classroom.

Who is Keith Page and how are we joining his NWSS journey?

The highlight of our evening was winning the "Partner Experience" bid for Keith Page, a talented young exhibitor from Akron, Colorado. Keith will be showing his goat at the upcoming 2026 National Western Stock Show, and we couldn't be more excited to ride shotgun on his journey to the winner's circle.

As a partner, we don't just provide funding; we stay connected through:

  • Regular Updates: Receiving progress reports on Keith's animal as he prepares for the big stage in Denver.
  • Mentorship Opportunities: Connecting young exhibitors with our experienced staff to discuss the future of the industry.
  • Industry Networking: Using events like the Meat & Greet to introduce students to the vast resources available through the John Deere network.

Why do we use a "Shareholder" approach for student exhibitors?

Beyond our primary partnership with Keith, we were thrilled to contribute to four additional students through a "shareholder" style partnership. This collaborative funding model allows multiple bidders to pool resources, ensuring that more kids have the financial backing they need to succeed.

By diversifying our support across every major category—beef, swine, goats, and sheep—we ensure that our contribution has a broad impact across the entire Colorado ag community. This "Customer-First" perspective extends to our smallest customers, ensuring that whether you're raising a Grand Champion steer or a prize-winning ewe, you have a partner in 21st Century Equipment.

Expertise That Grows with Our Community

Our team, including Master Level technicians and Precision Ag specialists with decades of hands-on knowledge, understands the hard work that goes on behind the scenes of a livestock project. Just like maintaining a fleet of 8R tractors, raising an animal for the NWSS requires dedication, technical skill, and a commitment to excellence.

We take pride in sharing our industry resources with these students, helping them navigate the complexities of modern agriculture. When you see our "Green and Yellow" at the stock show, know that it’s backed by a staff that is just as passionate about the future of the land as you are.
