Remote Display Control (RDC)
Remote Display Control is the central focus in this episode of The FarmCast presented by 21st Century Equipment. There’s also the long-awaited ability to sync implement profiles. With implement profile sync, switching machines or managing multi-machine operations becomes far simpler. Offsets, delays, and specs follow each implement without manual entry. Add to that smarter boundary management, as well as expanded display visibility, and you have a highly effective remote control solution. This update is packed with improvements designed to streamline your entire operation.
Lastly, there’s an important update for those still running StarFire 3000 receivers with SF2 subscriptions. Deere has announced the end of SF2 subscription renewals on 3000 receivers in November 2026. Users will need to transition to updated hardware or subscription models to avoid interruptions. If you’re relying on SF2 for your guidance solutions, now’s the time to reach out to your dealer or tech specialist. Make the switch to SF-RTK while also considering complete control over your remote display to maintain uninterrupted efficiency. Don’t wait until you’re in the field to find out it’s no longer supported.
